You can view and manage comments on your Facebook Ads primarily through two main methods within Meta's platforms: the Ads Manager and the Meta Business Suite Inbox.

Since Facebook ads are often "dark posts" (meaning they don't appear directly on your Page's timeline unless they are boosted existing posts), you have to go through the ad creation tools to find the public comment thread.

Here is the most common and reliable method using Ads Manager:

Method 1: Viewing Comments via Ads Manager

Go to Facebook Ads Manager: Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to the Ads Manager.

Select the Ad:

Go to the Ads tab (the third column in the Ads Manager structure, after Campaigns and Ad Sets).

Find the specific ad you want to check for comments.

Open the Ad Preview:

Check the box next to the ad, or click on the ad name to open the side panel.

In the preview section on the right, look for the Preview button or the "eye" icon. Click it.

Find the Post with Comments Link:

In the Ad Preview window, you will often see a dropdown menu or link, usually under a section labeled "Ad Preview," "View," or the Share/Boxed Arrow icon in the top right.

From this dropdown, select "Facebook Post with Comments" (or "Instagram Post with Comments" for Instagram ads).

View and Respond: This link will open a new window or tab that takes you to the ad's permanent public post URL, where you can see all the comments, like them, and reply to them just as you would an organic post.

Method 2: Viewing Comments via Meta Business Suite Inbox

This is often the most efficient way, especially if you manage multiple Pages or need to respond to both organic and ad comments in one place.

Go to Meta Business Suite: Log in and navigate to your Meta Business Suite.

Access the Inbox: Click on the Inbox icon in the left-hand navigation menu.

Filter for Comments: The Inbox section combines messages and comments. You may need to filter or scroll through the Facebook Comments and Instagram Comments tabs to find the specific thread for your active ad. Comments on your ads will appear here alongside comments on your organic posts.

Respond: You can reply directly to the comments from this unified inbox.

Note: Unlike organic posts, Facebook typically does not send a notification for every comment on your ads, so you must proactively check one of these two locations to manage engagement.
