Snapchat does not offer a single "Delete All Saved Chats from Both Sides" button.

However, you can delete each saved message that you have sent, and it will be removed from both your device and the recipient's device.

Here is the step-by-step process:

How to Delete Your Saved Messages from Both Sides
For a message to be deleted from the other person's phone, you must be the one who sent the message, or you must be the one who saved the message that they sent (and you want to unsave it).

Open the Chat: Go to the Chat screen (swipe right from the Camera screen) and tap on the conversation with the person.

Find the Saved Message: Look for the message you want to delete. Saved chats have a gray background.


Delete the Message:

Press and hold the saved message.

A menu will pop up. Tap "Delete".


A confirmation will appear, warning you that the message will be removed and the other person will see that you deleted a chat. Tap "Delete" again to confirm.


You will need to repeat this process for every single saved message you wish to delete from both sides.

Important Notes on Deleting:

You can only delete messages you have sent. If the other person sent the message and they saved it, only they can unsave/delete it.

A deletion notification appears: The other user will see a note in the chat that says, "[Your Name] deleted a chat."

The deletion is attempted: Snapchat attempts to remove the message from their servers and the friend's device. It may not work immediately if the friend has a poor internet connection or an outdated version of the app.


What "Clear Conversations" Does (and Doesn't Do)
You may have seen a "Clear Conversations" option in your settings, but this is NOT what you are looking for.

What "Clear Conversations" does: This simply removes the chat from your Chat Feed.

What it DOESN'T do: It does not delete any messages, whether they were saved or not, from your friend's device. The messages and conversation history are still intact for the other person, and they will reappear in your chat feed the next time you send that person a Snap or Chat.
